INCURSIONS
Incursions [into the Bardo] is a pretty intense techno-trance collection of songs i wrote after the death of my Guru, the late Geshe Palden Tsering. An old Trancer friend sent me 20 GB of loops and samples for the album to use and it became clear what shape the material had to take. Each track is a complete journey into the intermediate state after death, consensually called Bardo in Tibetan Buddhism, although all states are intermediate and therefor Bardos, like dreaming, wake state etc…
There are a lot of psycho acoustic effects in these tracks, like instruments appearing spatially behind or on top of the listener, objects moving through the aural field in 3D.
